If anyone could find it, it would be Kate Mcdonough. She spends hours sniffing out shops all over the five boroughs and puts the information on her new website www.thecitycook.com.
"You can look for a butcher in Manhattan or on the Upper East Side, or discover an African specialty shop in Hell's Kitchen" said website founder Kate Mcdonough.
"There are about 180 stores and the best part, there is no pay to play. The only way merchants can get listed is because we think they are first rate," said Mcdonough.
