Red Jacket Orchards, a much-loved New York family farm that brings high quality fruit and artisanal juices to New York area greenmarkets and grocers, has shares available in three new winter all-fruit CSAs.

The Urban Assembly Academy of Arts & Letters - 225 Adelphi Street, Brooklyn (Fort Greene)
Wednesdays, November 3 to December 22 from 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Applications are due October 23, 2010

Brooklyn Farmacy and Soda Fountain - 513 Henry Street, Brooklyn (Carroll Gardens)
Tuesdays, November 16 – December 28 from 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Applications are due November 5, 2010

92 Y Tribeca - ?200 Hudson Street, Manhattan (Tribeca)
Wednesdays, November 24 – December 29 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Applications are due November 12, 2010

Full and half shares are available. Full shares are priced at $17 per week and half shares are $10 per week. A full share will provide enough fruit for a household of three-to-four persons; a half-share is designed for households of one-to-two persons.

This unique CSA will provide weekly shares of fresh fruit, applesauce, jam, and fruit juice to its members.  Independent from any vegetable or dairy CSA, this program will provide more fruit than a typical fruit share that's sometimes added to a vegetable CSA.

For more information or to register, visit the Red Jacket Orchards CSA website (see the link below).  Registration is done by email (click on the tab, "Membership Signup") and payment is made with Paypal.
