What's great:

A carefully chosen selection of wines from around the world and at all price points. There are helpful, descriptive signs throughout the store to help you make a selection and shelves are organized both by country of origin and also the type of wine. They sell port and sake, and also keep a selection of wines chilled, including some of the popular boxed "Bandit" wines, making it easy to buy four, small single boxes of pinot grigio and then head to nearby Prospect Park for a picnic. The staff is very helpful, knowledgable and friendly. Wine tastings are held on Saturday afternoons.

What to know:

If you buy 12 or more bottles they offer free delivery within Park Slope. As an added incentive to buy the equivalent of a case at a time, they regularly offer a 15% discount (10% on sparkling wines) whenever you purchase 12 or more bottles -- and no, they don't have to all be of the same wine. Any 12 bottles.

They do not sell spirits.
