An upscale and well-stocked cookware, kitchen tool and tabletop retailer that's part of a national chain. Please don't hold that against them as they have many of the best national brands and a wide selection of high quality and very useful items. And many beautiful things, too. Not a discount store but not more expensive than anywhere else.

What's great:

They have nearly every gadget you may be looking for and probably more than one type of each. Beautiful French ovens and other cast iron cookware. The store's web site can give you a preview of what's in the store and what things cost.

What to avoid:

On basic tools and pots, pans and bakeware you can almost always do better on price somewhere else.

What to know:

This is a perfect place to shop for gifts for friends either setting up a kitchen or adding to what they already have. If the recipient already has it, they are certain to find something else here that they would love to have.
