This bakery has a large and diverse selection of breads, both their own (their ciabatta is outstanding) as well as others made by some of the most loved and popular bakeries in New York. They also sell pastries, cakes, cookies and muffins, including some traditional French pastries.
What's great:
Their organic bread selection is extensive and delicious. They also sell Bathazar baguettes and Pain d'Avignon loaves, plus bags of large pita loaves. Their sweets include stacks of large cookies plus a large selection of pastries including petit fours and mini cakes, perfect for smaller households or singles craving real cake (but not too much).
What to know:
Unlike some bakeries, Corrado's seasonal desserts, like heart-shaped cookies for Valentine's Day, and things made of pumpkin at Thanksgiving, will not only will dress a table but also taste very good.
