Despite its Greek-resonant name and being located in Astoria's Agora Plaza, this pretty bakery sells more than Greek pastries.
What's great:
A large and eclectic selection of Greek cookies, pastries, traditional desserts and preserved fruits called "spoon sweets" made by Glika Koutalion. The spacious bakery takes care to nicely showcase and present their goods which include Italian canoli and French pastries such as mille feuille.
What to know:
The bakery is located in a small plaza along side a butcher and large Greek market. There are tables both inside and out where you can have a pastry and coffee before heading off to the nearby stores for more shopping.
