D&F Italian Deli is best known for excellent Italian sandwiches. But they also sell a nice selection of cured meats and cheeses so you can make your own antipasto.
What's great:
Hams, salamis, imported prosciuttos, fresh mozzarella, other Italian cheeses, fresh bread, and olives. There's also a small selection of Italian grocery items, such as sun dried tomatoes, dry pastas, olive oils, and other products.
What to know:
In their freezer case they sell raviolis and fresh pastas made by Cassinelli, an Astoria-based producer of excellent pasta products.
