Victory Sweet Shop is in a small, unassuming building on a side street in Astoria. It may be a bit of a commitment to find this bakery, but if you're looking for Greek desserts, you will be glad to have made the search and the journey.
What's great:
All classic Greek pastries (baklava, kataifi, gianiotitiko, and others), classic Greek cookies (melomakarona, kourabie, koulourakia, and more including seasonal favorites), and other Greek specialties such as rice pudding. They also make savory cheese pies, tsoureki bread, and miniature Greek pastries.

They will prepare trays of pastries for parties and weddings. They also make a limited selection of sugar-free cookies.
