This small but full-service fish monger has been on the Upper West Side, serving the neighborhood near the big intersection of Broadway and 96th Street, since 1986. They will cut to order and always have a big variety to offer. On any visit you may find bluefish from Montauk, octopus, wild shrimp, soft-shelled crabs, or wild King salmon plus regular choices like sea bass, salmon steaks and flounder. Prices are excellent and service is warm and friendly.

If it's a holiday or you need something for a special meal you can order in advance.
What to know: The store isn't fancy but is a popular and trusted neighborhood resource. They sell various fish-cooking ingredients, like mixes for crab cakes and seasoned breadcrumbs. They have a large frying station and do fish fries for take-out. They do free delivery in the neighborhood from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday.
