What's great:

Hand-rolled pies, in about 50 different varieties depending on the time of year, are made in a commercial kitchen a few blocks north of Yankee Stadium. All pies and baked goods are made with local ingredients and other baked goods include tiny 2-inch Pie Babies, whoopie pies, classic layer cakes, and cookies.

Everything is sold on-line and delivered right to your door, or a selection are offered through a select number of Manhattan food markets, including Sing & Sing on the Upper West Side and Battery Place Market in the financial district.

What to Know:

Prices range from $ 25 to $ 40 for pies, Pie Babies are $24 per dozen, cookies are $8 per half dozen, and $ 35 to $ 40 for layer cakes.  Orders should be placed three days in advance.

Holiday orders should be placed even further in advance as supplies are often limited.

Delivery is to Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, and parts of Westchester.  Minimum delivery order is $35; $75 for pre-holiday, such as the day before Thanksgiving.  Delivery costs $10 to $15 per order, depending on location.  And delivery is free for orders over $75.
