Muncan is a superb Eastern European meat market with shops in Astoria and Ridgewood, Queens.  One of my favorite merchants in all of NYC.

What's great: 

Their amazing selection of smoked and cured meats, prime meats, and poultry.  They have a master butcher who can cut fresh meats exactly to your liking.  But where they really stand out is in their selection of salamis, hot dogs, wursts, pork rinds, hams, smoked pork ribs, bologna, and more.  They also have a small but very well edited selection of grocery items such as European mustards and preserves.  Service is both expert and very friendly.
