A superb specialty market in Park Slope that sells hundreds of types of beer (by the bottle or on tap), plus excellent quality charcuterie, chocolates, cheese, and other food and grocery items.
More than 900 beers, 250 cheeses, 100 kinds of chocolates, and a wonderful selection of charcuterie. Everything that's sold in the store has been carefully chosen for both quality and taste. Grocery items include Peet's Coffee, Benedetto Cavalieri pasta and jars of artisanal sea salts. They also sell Sullivan Street breads. The people who run the store know their products and are friendly and helpful, whether you're buying an unfamiliar beer or a precious artisanal cheese.
What to know:
They have regular tastings on Tuesday nights and will also put corporate events together. They deliver to most of New York City. You can choose from one of the 9 or so fresh beers on tap to be put into growlers that if unopened can keep for about 3 months; bring the empties back and have them refilled with the same or another choice.
