West Village
634 Hudson St.
between Horatio/Jane Sts.

P: 212.691.4194

A shop in Greenwich Village that's been selling all culinary things British since 1985. The BBC is on the radio, the shelves are filled with cans of marrow fat, Mushy processed peas and Heinz Baked Beanz, and the fresh foods include Cornish pastries, baners, and pork pies.  Hail Britannia!

What's great:

Baked goods, dairy (think clotted cream), sweets, jams and preserves, tea, condiments, crisps, biscuits, Barrys and Typhoo teas, Marmite and Weetabix, and more. The people working in the shop are extremely friendly and helpful and will pack your purchase to take on a trip or ship.

What to know:

In addition to food the shop sells items like tea cozies made out of Union Jacks and other items that would please any Anglophile.  While they have a web site, all orders must be sent in by phone or fax. Call for more information.

The shop is located on the northern end of Hudston street, just above Abington Square in the West Village.
