The Interview: Judith Jones On The Pleasures of Cooking for One

Award-winning author Judith Jones was Julia Child's and James Beard's editor, but in The Pleasures of Cooking For One, she shared a lifetime of experience as a home cook.  We talked with her about what makes cooking for just yourself different than cooking for others, how to equip a cook-for-yourself kitchen, getting your needs met at a grocery market, and what she makes for her own dinner.

Judith Jones died on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the age of 93. It was The City Cook's privilege to have had this conversation with her in 2009.
