Since 1996, this is a Greenwich Village bagel shop that sells about 20 different kinds of bagels and bialies and a dozen or so toppings and spreads, all sold with friendly service.

What's great:

About 18 kinds of bagels, plus bialies and rolls.  A variety of cream cheese spreads and "shmears," smoked fish and salads including several kinds of smoked salmon, chopped liver and chicken salad.  Cold and hot drinks.  Very friendly people work in the shop who are happy to help and make sure you leave happy. 

What to know:

There are a few tables to eat in the shop but most of the purchases are take-out.  They also make a long list of deli sandwiches and do catering.  There's no connection to Murray's Cheese, also in the Village.
